Therapeutic Contract Document
This contract represents a document between the therapist and the client that guarantees for both parties to carry out all the responsibilities and duties related to performing all necessary remedial methods and training in behavioral skills in order to improve the client’s quality of life. The contract starts from the date of the first session.
- Therapist undertakes, maintains, and is committed to maintaining confidentiality and credibility in dealing with the client and not divulging any secret or information related to the client’s life or his family or that may cause any damage to his personal reputation. However, confidentiality may be broken if the therapist determines that the client poses a risk of harm to themselves, others, or property. In such cases, appropriate authorities or individuals will be informed to ensure safety.
- The client under this contract undertakes and maintains to abide by the dates of attendance and treatment or supervisory sessions.
- In the event that it is not possible to attend the session, an apology is made for it before the date, a sufficient period of time, because there are other appointments.
- In the event of non-apology and non-attendance, the cost of the session will be calculated on the client, and the paid amount will not be refunded.
- If an emergency event occurs that prevents the therapist from attending the session, an apology will be made for it sufficiently in advance and a later date will be set. The client has the right to recover the amount of the session.
- The value of the treatment session is paid before the session until the reservation is confirmed and the receipt is sent to the customer service via e-mail or SMS.
- The psychotherapist is not discussed about financial matters at all, and if there is any request, it is sent via e-mail to customer service.
- Psychological treatment may include (individual – family – group therapy) and therefore any therapeutic direction that achieves the benefit of the client will be discussed and agreement between the therapist and the client will be made.
- Respect for all parties involved, including the therapist, other clients, and colleagues, is a fundamental expectation. Mental illness does not justify or excuse disrespectful behavior.
- The organization is committed to providing quality psychological services in accordance with professional ethical standards and the regulations governing The Private Clinic. These services align with the best practices of international codes of ethics in psychotherapy and are tailored to comply with the applicable legal framework.
- The client has the right to be respected by all team members and other clients in the case of remote group therapy (therapeutic group).
- Some cases will be directed to psychiatrists, or an apology for them in the event of severe psychological symptoms that require hospitalization.
- During the treatment journey, you may feel a state of anxiety, doubt about the therapist, refusal or unwillingness to continue treatment. This is called (subconscious resistance to treatment). This resistance requires you to share with your therapist what you feel about your feelings, which improves the course of the treatment process.
- While therapy does not provide instant solutions to eliminate symptoms immediately, our commitment is to improve your overall quality of life, reduce symptom severity, and work towards long-term recovery.
- It is necessary to hold video sessions face to face from a distance.
- All electronic client files are stored securely and encrypted with unique identifiers to ensure privacy and prevent unauthorized access.
